Admission and Fees

ADMISSION

Students may apply before May 31 of each year for starting the LL.M. at the end of August of the same year. The application file must be completed online and include a CV and a cover letter. The admission requires a Masters in law, in political science, in international relations or equivalent university education. Applicants who do not hold the prerequisite degree may be admitted via accreditation for work experience.

SELECTION CALENDAR 

Applications will be assessed on two occasions throughout the year:

• First round: The 15 of January 2025 for applications submitted before December 31, 2024.
• Second round: The 15 of June 2025 for applications submitted between January 31, 2025 and May 31, 2025, the final deadline for applying.

Students will be informed of the decision taken regarding their application as soon as possible thereafter. If your application is unfortunately rejected, you can request a brief explanation within 5 days of the decision being sent to you.

FEES

Enrolment fees are 3.500€. The fees must be paid irrespective of whether students intend to achieve the LLM. in one or two years or already completed the MicroMasters in International Law on edx outside the LL.M. program. Those fees cover the whole program. Students are not required to pay any additional fees to follow the MOOCs on the edx platform within the framework of the LL.M.

REGISTRATION WITHDRAWAL

Considering the relatively long time between admission and the start of the program, if you were admitted to the LL.M. following the January selection round (first round):

• Withdrawal of admitted candidate within one month of invoice payment: 10% withheld
• Withdrawal of admitted candidate within the 2nd and 3rd month of invoice payment: 20% withheld
• Withdrawal after the 3rd month following invoice payment: no refund

Considering the short time between admission and the start of the program, if you were admitted to the LL.M. following the June selection round (second round), no refund of the enrolment fees will be provided.
